About Sandwich Time

Who we are and the people between the bread

Sandwich Time head office

A Brief History of Questionable Choices (and Excellent Bread)

It started, as all great things do, with someone saying, “I could make a better sandwich than that.” And we did. We’re sandwich architects. No frills. No nonsense. Just bread-based excellence assembled by people who care deeply and sleep very little.

Founded in 2000 by the sea in Sandwich Bay, Kent, we built a café that practically insists you sit down and order food. Along the way, we became the South-East’s most popular sandwich shop. Today, we cater 100+ events a year, feeding crowds and quietly saving the day.

Where to Find Us

You’ll find us by the sea in Sandwich Bay, Kent — close enough to smell the salt air, far enough to safely eat a sandwich without seagull interference (mostly).

Pop in for a coffee, stay for a sandwich, accidentally stay all afternoon. It happens.

Happy to eat almost anything! Prefers not to pay. Favourite sandwich is a chip butty but he's not that fussy.
